1.0.1
Home locations
- Home locations are now kept on the phone and shared by all your cars. An AC charge of any car within 150 m of a home location is logged as a home charge. DC fast charges are not.
- Deleting a car keeps your home locations. Only that car's home rate is cleared.
- Settings › Home location lists each home location, and Clear removes one. Past charges stay as they are.
- The update doesn't turn a charge into a home charge if you already chose its place, entered a cost, or it was matched to a public station.
- When you charge near home, Home is at the top of the station list.
Battery
- New estimated battery health (reference only) in car info, once there is enough charge data. It is estimated from charge records and the range the car shows. Temperature, battery calibration and model differences can change it. It is not a battery management system (BMS) reading.
- Usable battery size is estimated from the VIN first, then worked out from your charges. There is nothing to enter.
Backup
- Your charging history and phone key are included in your own iCloud or Google backup. On iPhone the phone key syncs through iCloud Keychain. On Android the phone needs a screen lock. See the Privacy Policy.
Other improvements
- When no station is found near where you charged, the station list says so and shows other stations farther away.
- A Bluetooth link that gets stuck reconnects by itself.
- Opening the charge port without charging no longer adds a 0 kWh record.
- If the charge counter drops when you unplug, it no longer counts as a new charge.
