Sample data

Every charge, itemised.

  • Logs itself

Plug in like you always do. When you're back at the car, the app reads it and logs the energy and cost. There's nothing to type.

    Auto
  • Public charging, priced for you

Charge at a public station and the app prices it from that station's published rate at the time. If a few stations are close together, or it picked the wrong one, you can change the charger at any time, including Home or Another public charger. Got a receipt? Switch to the exact amount.

    Public
  • Home charging, just as precise

Enter your home electricity rate once. After two AC charges at the same place, the app asks whether it's your home, or you can mark any charge as Home. From then on, AC charges at home are priced from your rate automatically. Got a receipt? Key in the exact amount.

  • Your month at a glance

Reports show what you spent over any period, what each operator charged and how prices vary by time of day, and work out how far each kWh takes you. Export a CSV for expense claims, and keep a separate record for each car in the household.

    CSV

A read-only car key. It reads the numbers and leaves the car to you.

The app adds a read-only car key to your car and uses it only to read what it needs to price your charging. The key can't open the doors or change a single setting.

In your car's key list, the key first shows up as Phone Key. The app suggests renaming it EV-BOY Connect so it's easy to spot later.

Three steps to set up. Then it runs itself.

  1. Enter your VIN

The app shows you how to copy it from the Tesla app. Just paste it in.

  2. Pair in the car

Sit in the car, place your key card on the reader, then tap Confirm on the car's screen.

  3. Add your home rate

That's it. Every charge from now on is logged automatically.

On iPhone? A few quick settings help every charge log on time.

Your records stay on your phone.

No account and no Tesla login. No ads, no advertising identifier and no cross-app tracking; only anonymous usage statistics are collected.

Supported cars and phones

Currently supports Tesla only. Station matching is available only in Hong Kong. Elsewhere the app still works: every charge is still logged automatically, and you just choose Another public charger and enter the actual fee yourself. If you have real-time availability and pricing data in other regions, contact us about a partnership.
